Tips to extend the battery life on your devices

In today’s digital and tech era were prone to have man-made technologies as the centre of our life. And these tech improvisations do require a power source to juice them up. A battery is designed to only generate and store a limited amount of power for a limited amount of time. Making sure that your gadget is fully charged before you leave home, or finding a port to charge em when they’re overused is quite irritating. But were addicted towards its usage hence here are some of the basic things you can do to improve your battery life in your gadgets.

  • The basic rule of power saving in gadgets is reducing the brightness of the screen. Do use it at times on need other than that you can just lower your screen brightness levels.
  • In the busy world of today we communicate with humanity only on the social platform, it’s become the only platform wherein you meet other humans who stay right next door or real far away. As important as that sounds you can save a lot more of your battery life if you can just turn off those services like Wi-Fi or Bluetooth when you’re not using them.
  • When you’re synced over the web your emails or chats or any other apps that updates frequently drains a lot of power. Schedule up a time pattern as to when and how frequently your apps needs to be updated. This would save a lot more as, if you’re gonna control syncing your Facebook to every 15 minutes rather that syncing it for every second your gadget is probably gonna last for another hour or two.
  • One of the easiest and not known fact towards saving battery life would be turning of the vibrating feature. Vibration during ringtones is acceptable but having them activated for every touch is a big mistake.
  • Try to shorten the auto lock as much as you can. Because after you use the phone it’s gonna stay awake idle until you hit the lock button that’s gonna drain power for background running apps and display brightness.

Having said all of that lets dig in a little deep in knowing about batteries and their capacity. All batteries have got a mAh rating that indicates the amount of power that can be delivered by the battery in an hour. So it’s that simple the higher the mAh the longer the battery is gonna last in delivering power to your gadget. There’s a range of batteries from 22400mAh to 500mAh that would power your gadget, yet humanity has also found other types of power sources that are portable. Some of the leading modes would be the power banks, that also has a wide range of types to choose from and the solar panels have paved its way as well in supporting the criteria of power source generation.

In the future we can expect discoveries that would solve such puzzles as the path has been laid today. Smartphones of today are prioritizing in designing a model that would fit large capacity batteries as 4000mAh. And Recently Stanford University has shown details of an aluminum graphite battery that could offer one minute charging for a smartphone. And with new battery technologies just around the corner, the days of running out of power at the most inopportune moment will become a thing of the past.
