The Rs 96 Prepaid Relay Service has once again been reintroduced by BSNL. But the operator’s validity of this program has been that this period. Rs 96’s prepayment voucher is recognized as the Vasantham Gold or PV96 scheme.
Last year, the Rs 96 program was unveiled but was marketed for 90 days. In October, for a 90-day promotional period, the Program was subsequently reintroduced. The plan was, however, now reinstated.
TelecomTalk notes that the BSNL Rs 96 plan offered 180 days validity, but this time, the plan is 90 days only. It means that the fairness of the program has been halved by BSNL. BSNL has not modified the duration of freebies, which is 21 days.
For the benefits, the package offers a 250-minute free telephone call. In addition to the call, 100 SMS per day for 21 days is included for free. It has no technology advantages.
Recently, unrestricted calls began on BSNL Rs 299 and Rs 491 broadband plans. BSNL Rs 299 broadband plan provides unlimited voice over landlines and 20 Mbps speeds of up to 50 GB and there is no FUP limit after which speeds are reduced to 1Mbps. If the user will not emigrate after six months in another plan, BSNL will change it after six months to the 2 GB CUL plan.
BSNL Rs 491 broadband service has an unlimited number of voice calls for all Indian networks and a speed limits of 20 Mbps and 120 Go FUP per month, which will lower speeds to 1 Mbps. After six months, BSNL would gradually convert the consumers of the Rs 491 plan into the broadband 3 GB CUL plan available in each zone.
